Lisa Vanderpump recently opened up about the infamous moment she “asked Kyle to leave” during the unraveling of their friendship, and discussed the possibility of her return to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She also touched on her current connections with former cast members, while throwing some shade at Lisa Rinna.

During the ninth season, Vanderpump faced allegations from her co-stars, who claimed she leaked a damaging story about her close friend Dorit Kemsley to the media. Despite Kyle Richards initially standing by her, she ultimately confronted Lisa at her home, suggesting she believed the rumors. This confrontation led Vanderpump to ask Kyle to leave, with her husband chiming in with a memorable, “Goodbye, Kyle!”—marking the end of their friendship.

In an interview with ET, Lisa revisited the scene where Kyle made what she called the “accusation.”

“Want to see the spot where I had Kyle leave?” Lisa quipped to journalist Brice Sander before leading him to her kitchen. “It happened right there. I even revamped the kitchen after she was gone.” She humorously echoed her husband’s parting words, “Goodbye, Kyle!”

The star claimed she renovated the kitchen to get the bad energy out.

“But, God, that was then and this is now. And it’s kind of moved on,” she said. “People keep saying, are you ever going to go back to Housewives? And I’m like, that was so many years ago. And between everything I do, I mean, everything I do is a passion project, and I can’t really say that about Housewives.”

She was then asked how she feels about Erika Jayne surpassing her in years on the show.

“Well, maybe [she surpassed me in] that, yeah, but not surpassed me [in another] thing,” she answered, assumingly referring to her marriage. “Well, good luck to her. I would say people need an award for tenacity and commitment to the cause.”

In an interview for Extra, Lisa addressed which castmates she keeps in touch with.

“None of them,” she said. “Well, Garcelle [Beauvais]. Garcelle and I are close. She’s very supportive of me and vice versa. Love her dearly. But ironically, she’s the only one that’s walked away as well. So we have that in common. But the others … not so much.”

As for whether she would join The Traitors, Lisa said she’s “busy.”

“I mean, I’ve just opened another restaurant, like, a few weeks ago in Arizona,” she said. “I’m doing my projects in Vegas, and I have two shows on the air.”

She later called out how Rinna “[got] the hoof” and was sent home on the latest season.

“She got messy,” said the host.

Vanderpump responded, “Oh, that’s unlike her — said no one ever.”
