Love Island contestants Zachariah Noble, 25, and Molly Marsh, 21, shocked the villa and ITV viewers tonight after locking lips in a passionate kiss during a challenge as part of the show.
The smooch has left viewers in doubt over whether Zachariah’s feelings for Catherine Agbaje, 22, are genuine, while many also noticed that Molly Marsh’s current match-up Mitchel Taylor, 26, looked upset after the kiss.
However, according to Love Island: The Morning After host Sam Thompson, this might not have been the first time Zachariah dropped a clue he’s not as into Catherine as he claims to be.
Speaking on his podcast with his co-presenter Indiyah Polack earlier today, Sam shared a theory he had after yesterday’s episode.
Last night, Catherine was lying on a lounger with Zachariah when she told him an insect had landed on her bottom.

“I just feel like, from that moment I saw it and went ‘Nah’,” he added, as Indiyah admitted he had made a “great observation”.
Indiyah also agreed that Catherine had “dropped” the hint when they were lying on the lounger.

Sam continued: “Put it this way, Catherine’s lying there, she went, ‘I’ve got a fly on my bum.’
Putting on a funny, voice Sam added: “And he went, ‘Well, you’ll have to get the big bugs.”
As the studio burst into laughter, Indiyah agreed that it did “sound bad”, as she continued: “Because if a guy fancied you, I feel like he would be cheeky and maybe try to swat it off.”
She then queried: “So what does this mean – that he’s just been leading her on and he just wanted to get into the villa? Is he just using her as a meal ticket?”
“I think that maybe he saw that she was the one everyone was going for,” Sam added.
Sam then joked: “She literally said, ‘Flirt with me.’ And he literally went, ‘Oh I don’t like spiders’ – whilst not looking her in the eye!”
Sam also suggested Zachariah “secretly fancies Molly”, which appears to be a sound theory based on tonight’s episode so far.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
