Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden, 32, has issued a health update from her hospital bed.
The BBC star, who revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer last month, took to Instagram today to address her 365,000 followers.
In the picture, the dancer could be seen giving the thumbs up as she lay in bed, dressed in a hospital gown.
She captioned the snap: “Step one to beating cancer! Rrrrrrready for this fight and more determined than ever to get back on the dance floor.
She added the hashtags: “#breastcanceryoung #checkyourchest #checkyourlemons #letsdothis #breastcancerawareness.”

Amy found a lump in her breast just a day before going on her honeymoon with husband Ben Jones.
Last month, she revealed that she had subsequently been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, just 10 months after the pair tied the knot.
Amy’s Strictly co-stars and fans have since flooded the comments section with supportive messages amid her fight against cancer.

Fellow Strictly pro Gorka Marquez sent heart and prayer emojis, writing: “You got this.”
While BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball penned: “Huge love and strength to you beautiful Amy.”
Her former partner on the show, McFly’s Tom Fletcher commented: “Sending you all the love today. Us Fletchers are right behind you.”
Make-up artist Lisa Armstrong and former series winner Stacey Dooley also sent heart emojis on the post.
Dancer Vito Coppola wrote: “Come on Come on @amy_dowden. You are Strong.”
“Sending so much love,” Gaby Roslin penned with three heart emojis, while Dragon’s Den star added: “You’ve got this!”
Last month, Amy took to Instagram to share her tough health news with fans, making it clear that she is determined to stay on the BBC show she loves so much.
Taking to her stories, Amy penned: “Hey all, I’ve got some news to share. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer but I’m determined to get back on that dancefloor before you know it.”
She signed off “Welsh Love Amy x.”
