90 Day Fiance’s Big Ed Brown is left fuming at his bride-to-be in upcoming scenes from the hit reality show, accusing her of making him ‘look weak’ after she was forced to step in to break up a near-violent altercation between Ed and a co-star.

The 58-year-old and his fiancé Liz Woods, 30, have desperately been trying to overcome challenges in their on-again off-again relationship over the last year. 

But, they come to blows again in Monday’s episode of spin-off show, The Last Resort, after Ed stirs the pot by revealing that Jovi Dufren had texted a stripper he met on the guys’ night out.

A teaser clip shared exclusively with DailyMail.com, reveals the awkward aftermath of the explosive showdown, with a furious Ed reprimanding Liz – while also attempting to make a half-baked apology.

Their relationship reaches rock bottom after Liz stops a physical fight between Ed and Jovi

The scene sees Ed and Liz sat in silence, only for Ed to eventually say: ‘Babe, I’m sorry I didn’t stop, but I didn’t mean to disrespect you… but he kept coming at me.’

Frustrated by his apology, Liz snaps: ‘Clearly, you’re not ready to apologize then if you’re making an excuse and you’re bringing it back to somebody else.’

Hitting back, he replies: ‘But I also don’t want you to put yourself in danger to protect me. That’s not your job.’

However, Liz refuses to give in and calls Ed out for not having ‘prevented the moment’, adding: ‘I’m never going to not know if I’m going to jump in, that’s impulsive. What you can prevent is not letting the thing, letting the situation escalate.’

‘You should not have interjected yourself into the situation,’ her future husband quips, prompting her to probe: ‘How am I not supposed to not do that?’

‘I don’t know, control?’ Ed says. ‘It’s between Jovi and I, not you. And I’m sorry. I appreciate you standing in for your man, but it made me look weak. It made me look like I can’t defend myself.’

At this point, a visibly upset Liz is seen fighting back tears as she retorts: ‘I’m making you look weak? Are you kidding me? You don’t want me to be there and have your back and protect you. At least I had your back and didn’t have a problem trying to jump in to protect you.’

But Ed still refuses to see Liz’s point of view and doubles down on his view.

A frustrated Liz fights back tears as she tells Ed she was there to protect him 

Eventually, their feud reaches fever pitch and Liz storms off 

‘I don’t know why you’re so upset,’ he says bluntly. ‘You should not have injected yourself into the situation. I’m sorry.’

Unsurprisingly, Ed’s response goes down like a lead balloon with Liz, and she gets out of her seat and storms off yelling: ‘F**k you, Ed.’

Unmoved by her remarks, he bellows back: ‘There you go. Therapy’s working, babe. That’s our therapy.’ 

It’s been a turbulent time for the feuding couple, with Ed only last week admitting that he doesn’t listen to Liz.

‘You and I do have trust issues and we don’t communicate,’ he said before vowing to work through their problems seriously. ‘Now we have something to work on.’

After the retreat is over, Liz and Ed have plans to move in together in Arkansas.

But Liz has been vocal about her doubts, and previously revealed: ‘Right now, a part of me just wants to call it quits because Ed says he’s trying to change, but he doesn’t realize he’s running out of chances real fast.’

The couple, who first met in 2021, are working on themselves in a last-ditch attempt to salvage their relationship

Liz and former 90 Day Fiancé alum Ed met in early 2021 when he walked into the San Diego restaurant where she worked.

The pair began dating shortly after, with their romance documented in 90 Day: The Single Life, a TLC series that followed former 90 Day stars as they tried once more to find love.

The couple split mid-2021, with Ed telling People that the ‘timing wasn’t right and it was rushed’.

However, Ed and Liz soon reconciled after the death of his beloved pet dog Teddy in August that year, before announcing their engagement in November 2021.
