Seraphina Watts is the daughter of Charlie Watts, an English drummer. Charlie Watts was a member of the Rolling Stones from 1963 until he died on August 24, 2021. Watts began playing drums in London’s rhythm and blues clubs, where he met other Rolling Stones band members; Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards. The Rolling Stones was formed in 1962, in 1963, Watts joined as drummer. He had his own group known as the Charlie Watts Tentet.
In 2006, he was elected into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame and was elected into the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame by Vanity Fair. He was ranked 12th on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Drummers of All Time” list, in 2016. The Rolling Stones band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. Watts was previously trained as a graphic artist, and he contributed graphic art and comic strips to early band’s records including the Between the Buttons record sleeve.

Charlie was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather and also as a member of The Rolling Stones one of the greatest drummers of his generation. We request that the privacy of his family, band members, and close friends is respected in this difficult time.” His cause of death was not revealed.
