Meanwhile, Pittsburgh’s Mayor Ed Gainey states that there have been no fatalities in the area. However, 10 people suffered minor injuries.
Also, four vehicles were on the bridge when it got destroyed. Teams are reportedly performing reconnaissance to ensure safety.
The cause of the collapse is yet to be investigated. The National Transportation Safety Board will soon notify the details after the investigation.

Jennifer H. has been the chairwoman of NTSB since August 13, 2021. She is the 44th member of the NTSB since 2018.
Homendy is a native of Plainville, Connecticut. She has done a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University.
The NTSB chairwoman first worked as a government relations manager at the American Iron and Steel Institute.
She also served as the representative for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
In 2010, she spearheaded the T&I Committee’s extensive oversight investigations of the Enbridge pipeline ruptured in Marshall, Michigan, and PHMSA.
