Zeya Rae Biography – Zeya Rae Wiki
Zeya Rae is a 23-year-old medical assistant and singer-songwriter who calls herself “your favorite spicy Gemini”. She is a contestant on The Voice season 25.
Zeya comes from a family of talented singers who never pursued professional careers. Everyone in her family loves music and often gathers to sing and play instruments. Her fondest memories involve singing Alicia Keys songs with her mom.
At age 11, she decided to make music her dream and worked hard to become a professional musician. She performed at various events and gained recognition, with the local radio station reaching out to her for shows.
A few years ago, Zeya felt burnt out from the music grind and decided to become a medical assistant. Although she loved working there, she really missed music and looked for a job with more flexibility. Zeya took a job as a nanny working for two separate families. She knew it would be a good fit given that she grew up helping with her eight siblings.
She classifies herself as a pop/soul and R&B artist on her YouTube channel.
On her Instagram are clips of her performing karaoke with former American Idol standout Joshua Ledet and meeting with Zhavia of Fox’s The Four at a songwriting showcase. Former Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez shows up in another of her Instagram posts.
Zeya says she gets asked all the time what her name means. The answer, she says, is success.
Zeya Rae The Voice
Zeya Rae is a 23-year-old contestant on The Voice season 25. She took part in the blind auditions and performed “Bellyache” by Billie Eilish. Her performance was cut down to about 15 seconds by The Voice.
She earned a chair turn from Reba and automatically became Team Reba because no one else turned. Dan said her voice sounded like Florence & The Machine meets Lana Del Rey. Reba says she loves Zeya’s voice and it’s unlike any others on her team.

The California native was accompanied to her blind auditions on The Voice by her grandmother and her mother. Zeya says her musical inspiration is her mother.
“She introduced me to music and my all-time favorite artists. She pushed me to never give up and sing until I got it right. lol.”
Zeya comes from a large family with eight siblings.
