The Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi has alleged that Jacqueline Fernandez made defamatory statements about her for “malicious reasons” and to destroy her career in a court case here.

Since they work in the same industry and have similar backgrounds, among other reasons, Fatehi believes Fernandez deliberately defamed her to further her own interests.

According to Fatehi, Fernandez made defamatory remarks against her in order to ensure her financial, social, and personal decline by tarnishing her image.

The lawyer of fellow actress Jacqueline Fernandez has spoken out about Nora Fatehi’s defamation suit against her.

She also claimed in her complaint that Fernandez had maliciously attempted to absolve herself of her actions in another criminal proceeding that has no relation to her.

Jacqueline Fernandez sued by Nora Fatehi for defamation:

” In the Sukesh Chandrashekhar Rs 200 crore case, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi are accused of money laundering by the Enforcement Directorate.

Fernandez, who is also an actress, allegedly made a false statement against Fatehi.

“As I am in the same industry as Fernandez, she has unnecessarily dragged and defamed me. She fully understands that a person’s career is solely determined by their reputation. The allegations made against the complainant are clearly intended and made in the knowledge that they may harm her reputation,” she asserted in her plea.

In the same plea, Fernandez claimed some media companies cited her, degrading her reputation.

The court has scheduled the next hearing for December 19.

Fatehi was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on December 2 regarding Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s money laundering case worth Rs 200 crore. Fernandez and Fatehi had both given statements as witnesses.
