A video revealed the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, dancing shirtless at a party in Ibiza, Spain. Although the individual in the video appears to be Sunak, there is no proof that he is him. Although the date of the video and the name of the guy in the video is unknown, it appears to have been posted originally by Wayne Lineker, a club owner in Ibiza, Spain. Viral tweets purporting to show UK PM Rishi Sunak shirtless at a party in Ibiza, Spain, went viral on the internet on August 7, 2023. In the video, a man dressed similarly to Sunak is dancing while holding an orange cup while wearing sunglasses and black bathing trunks.
Tam Khan’s video on X had over 1.5 million views after he shared it. Previously, the video had gone viral on X in October 2022. Netizens were likewise amused after watching the video, and many initially mistook it for the present Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. “Get back to 10 Downing Street, Rishi, and start doing your job,” tweeted Tam Khan. Ridiculous. The country is in disarray, and you’re ranting.” Even while it could not establish the name of the dancing figure or the exact date this video was filmed, there is not enough proof to suggest that Sunak is the man in the video. Though Rishi Sunak never addressed the viral video, all of the aforementioned evidence points to the conclusion that he was never spotted partying shirtless in Ibiza.

Ibiza Video Debunked: Was Rishi Sunak Seen Shirtless In Ibiza?
According to a new viral video, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was shirtless while partying in Ibiza. Tam Khan posted the video on X (previously known as Twitter) on August 7. It showed a man who resembled Sunak carrying a cup of booze in one hand and dancing to the camera with some insane dances at an open-air club surrounded by partygoers. Tam Khan addressed Prime Minister Sunak in the caption of his tweet, asking him to return to his office at 10 Downing Street in London. He also thought it was ludicrous that Sunak was screaming while the United Kingdom was in upheaval. The footage, however, is not recent. It was first shared on Instagram by Wayne Lineker, the brother of English broadcaster Gary Lineker and one of the owners of Ibiza’s Club O’Beach. On July 12, 2019, Wayne shared the video for the first time. In 2022, he reposted the video twice again, on January 21 and July 9. Since then, the video has been floating on other social media platforms, resurfacing every now and then. Wayne mentioned Rishi Sunak in the caption of his January photo, writing that Sunak was running a voting campaign in Ibiza. Despite the internet’s claims that the shirtless dancing man is Sunak, a short search reveals otherwise.

However, no record of him being in Ibiza in July 2019 was discovered. Instead, on July 10, 2019, the British leader was participating in a Q&A session with kids from North Yorkshire. Sunak also shared a photo of himself with the students on Facebook at the time. Later that day, on July 15, he attended a community gathering. Though Rishi Sunak never addressed the viral video, all of the preceding proof points to a finding that he did not spend any time partying shirtless in Ibiza.
