ALACHUA, Fla. – The Alachua Police Department has launched a new interactive Crime Mapping feature on its website, giving residents a convenient way to review public safety activity across the city.
The online tool allows community members to explore reported crimes and other incidents in the City of Alachua, offering a clearer view of activity in and around their neighborhoods.
Through the interactive map, users can review reported incidents and identify crime patterns and trends throughout the city.
Crime mapping information is expected to be refreshed each month. The department cautions that the data is preliminary, incident locations are approximate, and cases tied to active investigations will not appear on the map.
