Authorities in New York are actively searching for a teenager who vanished over two weeks ago. The 15-year-old boy, Thomas Medlin, has been missing since January 9 when he reportedly left school on Long Island, possibly traveling to New York City to meet someone he encountered through the popular online game, Roblox.
Police in Suffolk County reported that Thomas was last spotted at Grand Central Station around 5:30 p.m. Video surveillance later captured him around 7:06 p.m., walking along a pathway on the Manhattan Bridge.
Officials noted that Thomas’s cell phone last showed activity at 7:09 p.m. on the same day, and a nearby camera recorded a splash in the water at approximately 7:10 p.m. Interestingly, there is no evidence of Thomas leaving the bridge via its exits, as per the Suffolk police statement.
After conducting a thorough examination of digital records, investigators have concluded that his disappearance is unrelated to any online gaming activities, as reported by FOX 5 New York.

Following “a review of digital evidence,” investigators determined that his disappearance was not connected to online gaming platforms, according to FOX 5 New York.
“There is no indication of criminal activity,” police said.
