GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Tavellion Shaqur Ullah, 26, was taken into custody this morning after allegedly exposing himself in the parking area of the Kiwanis Challenge Playground at 2002 NW 36th Avenue.
According to Gainesville police, an officer arrived at the park’s parking lot around 7:40 a.m. on September 21 after a woman reported seeing Ullah masturbating inside his vehicle with the door open. She told investigators she had been sitting in her own car and recorded the encounter while contacting law enforcement.
The responding officer said the video appeared to show Ullah in the driver’s seat, actively masturbating with his genitals visible from the open car door.
After being advised of his Miranda rights, Ullah reportedly denied masturbating, saying he had only been “hanging out” before beginning an Uber Eats shift. Police said he continued to deny engaging in the alleged conduct in a public setting even after being told the incident had been recorded.

Ullah faces a charge of indecent exposure of sexual organs. Court records show three prior felony convictions and one misdemeanor conviction, as well as a previous state prison sentence; he was released in 2023. A sworn complaint filed that year accused him of making a written threat to kill, but prosecutors later dropped the charge. His bail is scheduled to be set on September 22.
