A Georgia man pleaded guilty this week to multiple charges after he kept a 13-year-old in his home for months.
Channel 2 Action News reports that Dale Drzewucki, 46, was sentenced to life in prison for rape, statutory rape, trafficking, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, child molestation, and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
On November 4, 2020, Douglas County officials reported that a girl fled from her mother’s Cobb County home. While walking, an unidentified man approached her and extended a ride, then took her to Drzewucki’s home in Douglas County.
The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office said that when he got to the home, the man negotiated a sex trade for drugs with Drzewucki. Evidence retrieved from Drzewucki’s phone indicated that he threatened the minor after she refused sex with him.
On January 2021, the victim escaped the home and contacted her mother for help. Police subsequently arrested the defendant.

Court records indicate that Drzewucki must serve at least 25 years behind bars before he’s eligible for parole.
