Megan Thee Stallion Lawsuit: Emilio Garcia Files Lawsuit Against Rapper
In the bombshell suit, Emilio Garcia claimed that the 29-year-old rapper and Grammy Award winner had created a hostile and unbearable work atmosphere.
Garcia started working as a personal cameraman for the rapper, real name Megan Pete, in 2018. A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday claims that Garcia left his job a year later to devote himself full-time to the job.
Jay-Z formed Pete’s record label, Roc Nation, and he was paid $4,000 a month.
But Garcia says that after traveling to Ibiza, Spain, in June 2022 with Pete, his ideal job turned into a nightmare.
After a night out, Garcia, Pete, and three other people allegedly got into an SUV, and the rapper and one of the women allegedly started having sex next to him, according to the lawsuit.
According to the lawsuit The U.S. Sun was able to get, Garcia said he was “embarrassed, mortified, and offended throughout the whole ordeal” and that he was stuck in the moving car.
According to the lawsuit, Pete asked him if he had witnessed the tryst the next day.
According to the lawsuit, Pete told Garcia, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw,” after Garcia acknowledged he had.
The photographer says that Pete started insulting him and calling him names that made him look overweight after that.
Pete, he claimed, had called him a “fat b***h” on several occasions and told him to “spit your food out” and “you don’t need to be eating.”
In addition, Garcia said that Pete had reduced his salary following the incident and made him put in long hours without taking breaks.
Roc Nation informed Garcia in June 2023 that “his services would no longer be required,” but Garcia remained willing to collaborate with her in spite of this, the complaint claims.
After over a year, Garcia is requesting over six figures in unpaid overtime, pay, and legal costs.
Ron Zambrano, the attorney for Garcia, released a statement saying, “Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior, and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat-shaming conduct.”
“Inappropriate is putting it lightly.”
