Celebrated actor Jackie Long and his partner, Sloan Byrd, have joyfully announced the arrival of their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Jackie Marie Long.
The heartwarming news was shared with their fans and followers on Instagram on March 20. The couple posted a touching video capturing the intimate and exhilarating moment of their daughter’s birth. In the video, Jackie Long is seen by Sloan’s side, beaming with excitement as their little one makes her entrance into the world.
The joyful announcement was accompanied by a simple yet significant caption: “03/19/2026 Jackie Marie Long.”
The post quickly garnered a flood of congratulatory messages from friends and supporters. Among them, fellow artist Kevin McCall shared a heartfelt reflection on fatherhood: “Beautiful if I never experience it again I saw it twice and it changed me forever. I Loooove My daughters so much… miss em like Hell every day. Keep your family close.”
Actress Bresha Webb chimed in with warm wishes, saying, “Congratulations. So happy for your beautiful family!” Meanwhile, Asia Monet Ray expressed her excitement, stating, “My bunny girl is finally hereeeee!!!”
Long first revealed that he and Byrd were expecting back in October 2025 with a Halloween-themed post. In the image, Byrd’s baby bump was painted like a basketball. “dribbling through halloween tonight,” he wrote at the time.
He later confirmed they were expecting a girl in January, writing, “On Jesus daddy I can’t wait for this little girl to be in my arms.”
In that same update, Long gave followers a glimpse into the pregnancy timeline, noting Byrd was about 29 weeks along in the photo. “March or April she 29 weeks in this picture 3 lbs. 3 oz.,” he shared, suggesting their daughter would arrive in early spring.
Byrd also responded to the announcement in the comments, directing a message to Long. “She’s told me to tell you she loves you…& I love you too,” she wrote.
Long is known for roles in films including ATL, The Comebacks, and Bodied. He has also appeared in television series such as Real Husbands of Hollywood and Games People Play, and voiced characters in Grand Theft Auto V.
