Brooklyn Beckham’s ongoing clash with his parents shows no signs of resolving, highlighted by his response to recent remarks from family friend Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay, who maintains a close relationship with the Beckham family, commented on the strained ties between Brooklyn, David, and Victoria Beckham. While expressing his support for Brooklyn, Ramsay urged him to mend the rift with his parents. Brooklyn’s reaction, however, suggested he remains uninterested in reconciliation.
Back in January, Brooklyn addressed long-standing rumors by issuing a statement about his relationship with his parents. In this statement, he accused them of attempting to sabotage his marriage and being overly focused on their public image. He also expressed his desire to sever ties with them. Following this revelation, Ramsay disclosed that he reached out to Brooklyn to offer support.
“Brooklyn and I have exchanged a few messages, and our relationship is strong,” Ramsay shared with The Sun. “I have a lot of love for him—his heart is amazing. But love can be tricky, especially when you’re so infatuated. It’s easy to get swept up in the moment, but things tend to come full circle.”
Ramsay also commended David and Victoria for their parenting, acknowledging the difficulty the family feud has caused them.
“I’ve personally witnessed just how dedicated they are as parents. David, in particular, is an incredible dad,” Ramsay remarked. “They’ve poured so much energy into their kids, and I’ve seen how often they’ve bailed Brooklyn out of tough situations.”
“I’ve seen first-hand just how good parents they are. David as a dad is just incredible,” he said. “They’ve both put so much energy into their kids, and I know just how many times they’ve got Brooklyn out of the s***.”
Ramsay also encouraged Brooklyn to reestablish a relationship with his parents.
“I just want Brooklyn to take a moment to himself,” he said. “And remember: you’re half mum, half dad. And you’re an amazing young man. But, boy, they’ve done more for you than anyone did in your entire life.”
While Brooklyn hasn’t directly commented on Ramsay’s advice, his Valentine’s Day post for Nicola Peltz appeared to reference the situation. In it, he promised to protect her.
“Happy Valentine’s Day baby x,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. “I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to call you my valentines every year x I love you more than you know and I will forever protect and love you x”.
Brooklyn also unfollowed Ramsay on Instagram, demonstrating that he doesn’t want to hear his advice. At this point, it’s clear that Brooklyn is staying strong in his decision to keep his parents at a distance.
He said his parents’ actions forced him to make a statement
While rumors about drama have circulated since Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, the family initially denied that there were any problems. This changed, of course, when Brooklyn published his statement. He claimed he only said anything because his parents forced his hand.
“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”
He added that he did not want to fix his relationship with David and Victoria.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he said. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
