On Sunday, January 11, just hours before the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the San Francisco 49ers in a crucial NFL playoff game, news surfaced about the arrest of Eagles defensive back Cooper DeJean’s brother.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, Beckett DeJean was apprehended for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Jail records indicate that Beckett was taken into custody around 1 a.m. local time in Iowa. This marks his first offense of driving under the influence, which is considered a misdemeanor.

The 20-year-old Beckett now faces potential penalties including fines, a suspension of his driver’s license, and the possibility of jail time.

Meanwhile, Cooper DeJean, aged 22, has been making waves as a standout cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles, who are the reigning Super Bowl champions. In just his second season, Cooper has already earned the distinction of being named an NFL All-Pro.

Nikki Garcia, a passionate supporter of the Eagles and Cooper DeJean, showcased her team spirit on social media. As the Eagles prepared to battle the Buffalo Bills on December 28, Garcia, 42, shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, “Walking into Sunday like…. 🦅🔥,” and added, “‘Been there, WON that.’ 🙌🏼 #FlyEaglesFly.” She also posted nostalgic clips of herself donning DeJean’s jersey along with other team gear.

Thanks in part to Cooper’s stellar defensive play, the Eagles enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed and the NFC East division champions with an 11-6 regular season record.

Philadelphia hosts the 49ers at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.

“A lot of guys that just love to fight and love to play for each other,” Cooper said after the team’s 13-12 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. “Any time you get guys who play for each other and have fun out there on the field it makes it easy.”

He had a career-high nine tackles in that game.

Cooper is rumored to be in a relationship with former WWE wrestler Nikki Garcia, 42, although their alleged romance has not been publicly confirmed.

According to an exclusive source, Garcia has simply “gone to a couple games.”

“They have hung out,” the insider told Us Weekly of the pair, after Garcia sparked dating speculation with Cooper towards the end of 2025.

Garcia finalized her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev, with whom she shares a 5-year-old son, in 2024. The source said a relationship isn’t on her radar at the moment.

“She is having fun and enjoying being single,” the source said, adding that if Garcia isn’t on the road, she’s with her son.

The dating rumors began in the fall of 2025 after Garcia attended an Eagles game and posed next to Cooper’s locker.

“So blessed for the people around me, new friends and old, who make life so special and fun 🤍✨🙏🏼,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Thank you Big Dom @daveophilly @nickyryan @philadelphiaflyers & @livecasinophl for spoiling me and my crew this weekend!”

Garcia, a longtime Eagles fan, added: “Fly Eagles Fly! Truly THE city of brotherly love! 💚🦅.”

Cooper DeJeans Ex Girlfriend Posts About Craziest Year Amid Nikki Garcia Dating Rumors

The ex-girlfriend of Philadelphia Eagles star Cooper DeJean is reflecting on 2025 as rumors about the NFL player’s love life continue to swirl. Stephyn Wilfawn, who previously dated the Eagles cornerback, posted a series of photos via her Instagram Story on Sunday, December 28, to commemorate the end of the year. “Goodbye to the craziest […]

Garcia also posted a photo of herself wearing Cooper’s jersey after a game earlier this year.

The 49ers — the No. 6 seed in the NFC bracket — finished third in a tough NFC West division despite the team’s 12-6 record, forcing them to travel throughout the playoffs.

A first-round matchup on the road against the defending Super Bowl champions is in order for the 49ers.

“I mean always with every place you go it starts with crowd noise,” said 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan on Wednesday. “They’re going to be going. You have to give them a reason to be quiet, if not it’s a very challenging place to play.”
