Cardi B said the end of her relationship with Offset was not easy. She felt like he put her through the wringer when she was most vulnerable.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in 2024, four years after she wanted to divorce the first time. While Cardi described Offset as her best friend, their relationship had its ups and downs. In an impassioned Instagram video, Cardi called out her husband and said he’d been putting her through the wringer.
Cardi B said Offset did her dirty at the worst possible time
Though Cardi said Offset cheated on her during their marriage, she said this was not the reason she filed for divorce in 2020.
“I just got tired of f***ing arguing,” she said in 2020, per Rolling Stone. “I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye.”
They got back together shortly afterwards and welcomed another child. Nearly four years later, though, Cardi made it clear to fans that the relationship was in a bad place. She told her followers that she was no longer with Offset.
“This motherf***er really likes to play games with me when I’m at my most vulnerable time,” she said on an Instagram live.
“You really been doing me dirty after so many f***ing years!” she added. “And it’s so crazy that I got to go to the f***ing internet because whenever the f*** I tell you something, you don’t take s*** seriously, and I’m so tired of it! I’m so f***ing tired of this b****-a** n****!”
Less than a year later, Cardi filed for divorce from Offset.
