Chrisean Rock Breaks Down Over Criticism of Her Son: ‘Just Leave Me Alone’

Chrisean Rock is asking online critics to give her some space.

The boxer and reality TV personality became emotional during a Monday Kick livestream while addressing backlash over how she is caring for her 3-year-old son, Chrisean Jr.

For several months, social media users have encouraged Rock to get Junior leg braces, citing concerns about his development. During the livestream, she said the braces had already been ordered.

“Leave me alone. I am doing it,” she said through tears. “I’m doing it with my head up and my chest high, with the kind of confidence that comes from God.”

Since Junior’s birth in 2023, Rock has faced ongoing questions about his health and pushed back against claims that he has a disability. In an August interview on The Jason Lee Show, she said he had no “diagnoses or illnesses.”

“I just think he needs more time, and I’m on his time. He’s had therapy. I’m there for him, and I’m praying over him,” Rock said.

Rock also directed criticism at Blueface, who has repeatedly disputed that he is Junior’s father, despite Rock’s consistent claims that he is.

She accused the rapper of not making his children and their mothers a priority. Rock also questioned why he attended a basketball game with Nevaeh Akira and their infant son without bringing his oldest child.

The turbulent, on-again, off-again relationship between Blueface and Rock has continued to draw scrutiny, with fans urging her to walk away from the rapper and concentrate on her own well-being and Junior.

In her emotional statement, Rock admitted that she has personal work to do, including establishing firmer boundaries and making meaningful changes.

“The places and things I need to improve, the things I need to leave alone, the things I need to begin doing, and the boundaries I need to set—I’m already fasting and praying for those things,” she said. “Okay? I’m already working on it.”
