Clementine Vaughn, the eldest daughter of supermodel Claudia Schiffer, has made the move to New York City, aiming to carve out her own path in the creative world.

It seems, however, that Clementine might be stepping into her mother’s shoes as a model, a possibility that has become increasingly apparent.

At 21, she recently shared photos on social media that showcased a striking resemblance to her famous German mother while out enjoying an evening with friends.

In one standout image, Clementine bore an uncanny resemblance to Claudia during her iconic modeling days in the 1990s.

In addition to her modeling aspirations, Clementine is also the daughter of renowned filmmaker Sir Matthew Vaughn, known for directing the “Kingsman” series.

Acknowledging her fortunate background, Clementine has said of her move to the Big Apple: ‘I’ve seen the end of success. I want to see the start of it – the hustle and bustle.’

Clementine grew up in London and a Tudor mansion in Suffolk however in recent months she has been living in New York, pursuing creative interests.

Claudia and Matthew, who have been married since 2002, are also parents to Caspar, 22, and Cosima, 15. They have resided at the sprawling £7.5million Coldham Hall, Stanningfield, Suffolk, since 2002.

While Claudia’s life was jam-packed with parties and runways throughout the 80s and 90s, things changed dramatically when she met Matthew.

She previously said: ‘Before I met Matthew, I worked non-stop. But once we got together, suddenly, a whole new world seemed to open up… My priorities became completely different. Motherhood made me feel, ‘This is what I’m all about.’

Echoing her previous thoughts, last year, the supermodel again detailed how her focus changed after she married Matthew and they had their three children.

She became less ‘competitive’, and while she knows she could still book more jobs if she wanted to, she’s content with the balance she’s achieved in her life.

She told HELLO! Magazine: ‘When I was in my 20s, travelling around the world, my focus was on my career – working hard, being competitive and getting to the top. That changed when I had kids, and now, I feel lucky to have such a wonderful family.

‘I’m proud of my children, they’re very down to earth and their wellbeing is mine and my husband’s priority. I could take on a lot more runways, photoshoots and other projects…

‘But maintaining a balance that enables me to spend quality time with my family and be there when they need me is far more important to me than doing a great new campaign.’

Claudia was one of the original supermodels alongside Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington.

Though she appreciates their position in the fashion industry was ‘revolutionary’, it was only looking back much later that she understood just how special a time it was.

She said: ‘The 1990s saw the rise of the supermodel, but also the emergence of style culture and fearless creativity. A wave of young new talent fundamentally changed the way we viewed fashion and design.
