Fans of Tyler Hynes, affectionately known as “Hynies,” are in for a treat with tonight’s premiere on the Hallmark Channel.
The film, titled I’ll Be Seeing You, features Hynes as Mark, and he stars alongside Stacey Farber, who plays Amy. It promises to be a heartwarming road trip romance. The plot, as described by Hallmark, revolves around Amy’s weekend plans with her grandmother, portrayed by Christine Ebersole. These plans take an unexpected turn due to a work-related errand, prompting a road trip filled with sentimental stops. Hynes’s character, a charming activities director, plays a pivotal role in their journey.
This project holds particular significance for Hynes, who shared on Instagram that it marks his first venture into development with the Hallmark Channel as a producer. He attributed this milestone to his deep respect for the older generation and insights from fans who yearned for such a narrative.
Hynes expressed his sentiments, stating, “There’s a voice I’ve grown to deeply cherish—a voice I’ve had the privilege of acting opposite, and one I honorably meet on these tours. I wanted that voice to be at the forefront. I hold deep admiration for the generation before me, not only for their wisdom but also for their spirit. It’s truly beautiful when families use these films to create multigenerational shared experiences. So, here it is—a title and a song I’ve shared with you for years, a movie inspired by you, made with you in mind, and with the people I wished to make it with.”
