DAZN Explained: 2026 NBA and NHL Subscription & Livestream Guide

As streaming options multiply, sports fans have more ways than ever to watch their local teams—but keeping track of every platform can quickly become expensive.

The NBA alone is spread across NBC, ESPN, Prime Video, ABC and each team’s regional sports network. For viewers who have cut the cord, the monthly costs can add up fast, particularly for those determined to watch every game.

Starting with this season, 11 NBA teams and six NHL teams are introducing new monthly plans that let fans stream local games through DAZN.

Another streaming service? That may be the first reaction. Still, DAZN offers several useful benefits—and its pricing remains relatively affordable compared with a full live-TV streaming package.

Here’s a closer look at what fans should know.

What is DAZN?

Pronounced “da-zone,” DAZN is a sports-focused streaming platform best known as a global destination for boxing. Subscribers can also watch international soccer, MMA and other live sports.

Beginning with the current NBA and NHL seasons, DAZN is offering standalone local-market subscriptions for 19 teams across the NBA, NHL, WNBA and MLB.

What Can I Stream on DAZN?

Alongside boxing, FIBA basketball, La Liga, the Bundesliga and the FIFA Club World Cup, DAZN now provides packages designed for viewers in select U.S. cities. These plans give subscribers access to their local NBA or NHL team’s games that are not being shown nationally. At present, the 19 teams available through DAZN are:

MLB:

WNBA:

What Is DAZN Subscription Price?

Most individual team packages come with two pricing tiers: Standard costs $19.99 per month, while Ultimate is $24.99 per month. Standard includes live and on-demand local games and supports two simultaneous streams. Ultimate adds online team-store discounts, multiview, alternate camera angles and up to five streams at once.

MSG+, YES and Monumental+ are the exceptions, with pricing structures that differ from the standard DAZN team plans.

MSG+ costs $29.99 per month after an introductory month priced at $19.99. YES is $19.99 per month following a first month at $14.99. DAZN also offers a Gotham Bundle, which combines MSG+ and YES for $34.99 per month after an introductory month at $29.99.

Monumental+ is available for $19.99 per month or $179.99 for an annual subscription.

Does DAZN Have A Free Trial?

Most DAZN plans include a seven-day free trial. MSG+, YES and Monumental+ are the only add-ons that do not offer a trial period.
