Away from the old razzle-dazzle of the spotlight, Weaver says what matters most to her and Allman, 26, is simple: love.
Their relationship, she explained, is built on steady support and shared joy. “It’s our goal now, just to always support each other, make sure that we’re doing okay, and then also just making sure that we’re having fun at the end of the day,” Weaver said, adding that they are committed to being “each other’s encouragers.”
That encouragement has been especially meaningful as Weaver rouged her knees, pulled her stockings down and stepped into the spotlight for her Broadway debut on Sept. 7.

Reflecting on how their private life suddenly became more public, Weaver said the couple had to adjust quickly. “Three years ago, we had to kind of face a new reality and had to learn how to adapt to it,” she shared. “And the blessing is, is that we’ve had each other throughout this entire process.”
So when the chance came to pursue her Broadway dream, Weaver said it felt like the next challenge they would take on side by side. “It was just another one of those things,” she noted. “It was like, ‘OK, we’re going to do this together.’”
