‘DWTS’ Pro Jenna Johnson Reveals Why Her James Corden Sketch Still Makes Her Cringe
Jenna Johnson is looking back on a James Corden encounter she wishes had gone a little more smoothly.
In 2016, the professional dancer joined Corden for a comedy segment in which the late-night host played a heightened version of himself while attempting to create a routine for Dancing With the Stars.
Instead of laughing off the moment, however, Johnson said the experience became one of her most awkward memories.
“Honestly, I completely fumbled when James Corden came on our show and we were filming that bit,” Johnson told E! News in an exclusive interview following the Oct. 13 episode of DWTS. “I just wasn’t understanding what was happening.”
Johnson, 32, explained that Corden, 48, asked her to “flock behind him” while she was wearing her Paso Doble costume. The direction left her confused rather than ready to perform.
“I get to meet so many celebrities because of this show,” she said, “but I definitely haven’t always had my finest moments.”
