Jordan Clarkson began his college basketball career at the University of Tulsa before transferring to the University of Missouri. He entered the 2014 NBA Draft, where the Washington Wizards took him 46th overall in the second round and subsequently sent him to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Clarkson quickly established himself in Los Angeles, earning NBA All-Rookie First Team honors in 2015. After three seasons with the Lakers, he was dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers and then moved to the Utah Jazz the following year. On June 30, 2025, Clarkson and the Jazz agreed to a buyout, clearing the way for him to join the New York Knicks. He later captured an NBA championship with New York during the 2025-26 season.
With roughly $195 million in career NBA earnings, Clarkson has invested in several properties across California and Texas. In 2023, he purchased a sprawling estate in San Antonio, where he spent much of his childhood and adolescence. The Knicks guard has now listed that Alamo City mansion for $7.5 million, offering buyers a chance to own one of the area’s most luxurious homes.
The three-story residence covers 10,106 square feet and includes five bedrooms along with six full bathrooms and one half-bath.
The listing places the home inside The Dominion, one of San Antonio’s most exclusive gated communities, on a private 1.12-acre lot. Built for both lavish entertaining and comfortable daily life, the property includes a theater with stadium seating, an elevator, a dedicated wine lounge and expansive connections between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
The outdoor amenities are just as impressive. The estate features a resort-style pool area, jacuzzi, basketball court and Italian wood-fired pizza oven. A separate casita offers guests a full bar, while the lower level houses a gym and full bathroom for a private wellness setup. The property also includes a large four-car garage with additional storage, rounding out an exceptionally high-end San Antonio home.
Clarkson initially purchased the mansion through an affiliated company. The listing does not suggest that the sale is connected to his status or long-term plans with the Knicks.
Before winning a title, Clarkson spoke about the special meaning of defeating the team he supported as a child. He also reflected on growing up in San Antonio during the Spurs’ championship era.
“My stepmom worked at The Westin, so I would see the parades through the hotel, balconies and stuff … Being able to take pictures and run up on players for autographs, I was definitely that kid,” Clarkson said. “And to see the energy and how alive the city became when the Spurs were in the finals and winning championships, it’s a great experience.”
