Eva Longoria captivated the audience with her elegant nod to old Hollywood glamour, donning a floor-length red gown that perfectly complemented her petite figure.
On Tuesday, Eva took the stage at the Taormina Film Festival, expressing her deep gratitude to “Desperate Housewives” for its pivotal role in her career transformation.
“’Desperate Housewives’ changed everything in my life,” she reflected. “It granted me a global reach, and I am truly delighted to be here at the Taormina Film Festival, receiving this humanitarian award.”
Eva acknowledged that without “Desperate Housewives,” her influence worldwide might not have been possible, underscoring the show’s significant impact on her journey.

The Taormina Film Festival is renowned for celebrating women in film, with Eva Longoria, Melanie Griffith, and Pamela Anderson all receiving honors for their contributions.
The pretty brunette said of the questions she was asked about working with a predominantly female cast on Desperate Housewives.
She explained: ‘I think its interesting that this festival is about celebrating women’s impact, on a show with four women, but people are fast to criticise if there is drama behind the scenes.

Eva spoke on the fourth day of the 60th edition of the Film Festival, where she collected her Humanitarian Award, and also spoke about her Eva Longoria Foundation.
