  • Former security guards turned viral sensations, Happie Boys, are trending again after receiving two brand new bikes from Gossipmill and De Kings following their controversial Cyprus deportation saga.
  • The duo previously rose to fame after Apostle Chibuzor of OPM sponsored them abroad before their relationship later turned sour online.

Internet sensations Happie Boys have once more captured the spotlight after receiving a pair of brand-new motorcycles, courtesy of content creator Gossipmill and his colleague, De Kings.

The dynamic pair, who skyrocketed to fame after leaving their security roles to showcase their dance moves while on duty, were invited to a gathering where they were taken by surprise with the generous gifts, a moment that has since taken the internet by storm.

Happie Boys originally caught the public’s eye in 2022 when clips of them dancing energetically while serving as security guards went viral. Their lively performances won over the hearts of many Nigerians, eventually catching the attention of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).

Apostle Chinyere extended his support by sponsoring the boys’ education in Cyprus, transforming their narrative into an inspiring “rags to riches” story.

Nonetheless, the story took a surprising twist when disputes arose between the boys and the pastor. They voiced their struggles abroad and accused the church of neglect, sparking a heated controversy online and drawing criticism from numerous Nigerians.

The situation reportedly worsened until the boys were eventually deported back to Nigeria, sparking conversations online about fame, gratitude and missed opportunities.

Now back in the spotlight, the duo received fresh support after Gossipmill and De Kings gifted them two new motorcycles.

The gesture triggered mixed reactions on social media, with many Nigerians questioning whether the bikes would truly help the boys rebuild their lives.
