Jaden Smith first collaborated with the brand in 2016. He wore a skirt and biker jacket for a Louis Vuitton campaign in a challenge of traditional gender norms. At the time, he told Nylon Magazine, via Hello Beautiful, “The world is going to keep bashing me for whatever I do, and I’m going to keep not caring … So, you know, in five years when a kid goes to school wearing a skirt, he won’t get beat up and kids won’t get mad at him.
