Jenelle Evans has set the record straight about her romantic life following recent speculation about a possible reunion with her ex, David Eason. This buzz came less than a year after Evans marked their divorce in a memorable way—by smashing a piñata bearing his likeness at a strip club celebration.
The rumors of reconciliation gained momentum after photos surfaced of Evans and Eason enjoying time together in Las Vegas, accompanied by their children. In response, Evans, now 34, opened up about her personal life during an interview on the La Femme Talk podcast.
During the podcast, Evans emphasized her commitment to co-parenting and starting afresh for the sake of her children. “I think now, back to co-parenting, that’s the most important thing for right now,” she shared. Reflecting on the past, she noted, “In my past, it was a lot that they witnessed and saw, and we’re all trying to move past that, and we’re all trying to create new memories.”
Evans reiterated her dedication to focusing on co-parenting all of her children, underscoring it as her primary goal moving forward.
Evans said she was just generally focused on co-parenting with all of her children.Â

Evans raised eyebrows after she was pictured in Las Vegas with Eason and their kidsÂ
‘I think right now I’m focusing more on coparenting with all my exes and just trying to make things as civil as possible and if that means my daughter seeing us getting along together, going out to have lunch, dinners, that’s fine with me, as long as we can all get along, you know?’
‘Coming from my past, there’s a lot of toxicity, and for my kids to now see a new turned leaf, it’s happy,’ she added.Â
Evans addressed speculation of a rekindled romance with Eason after TMZ published photos of her in Las Vegas with her children this past weekend.Â
She appeared to be hitting back at the pictures when she tweeted: ‘Just because I am co-parenting, doesn’t mean I’m in trouble in any way. Sorry to burst your bubble everyone.’
Evans was also asked about her 16-year-old son Jace, who is being treated at a mental health facility after he was accused of brandishing a firearm toward his grandmother Barbara Evans in a chaotic February 22 incident that led her to call 911.
The MTV alum said her son is ‘very happy right now’ and is in a ‘safe place.’Â Â
‘Yeah, so I’ll let you know something that I haven’t told anyone. I actually, behind the scenes, you know I’ve been very quiet online,’ Evans said. ‘And behind the scenes, I’ve been actually getting help for my son as needed, and he’s in a safe place, and a holistic approach.Â
‘He’s very happy right now, and he’s very focused on himself. And I think that’s the most important thing,’ she said.Â
Evans separated from Eason in 2024 and their divorce was finalized a year later – which the reality star celebrated with a bash at strip club Spearmint Rhino in New York.Â

Last year Jenelle celebrated her divorce from Eason with a very special piñata of her ex-husband’s face madeÂ
Before the raucous party she told TMZ that with David finally out of the picture, she is feeling great, less anxious and totally free.
Jenelle filed for separation from David in 2024 after six years of marriage and accused him of erratic behavior, substance abuse, not working – and even brought up the time he shot their French Bulldog, Nugget, in 2019.
MTV famously fired Eason in 2018 over homophobic and transphobic tweets, and the cable network fired the hot-tempered brunette in 2019 after nine seasons of Teen Mom 2 shortly after Eason shot and killed their French Bulldog, Nugget.Â
After Evans initially called the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office to report that her husband had shot and killed their dog, she subsequently claimed that she had not seen the shooting or seen any evidence that the dog was actually dead.
That got police to end the investigation into the killing, only for Eason to admit months later that he had shot and killed the tiny dog, which he claimed had bitten their daughter Ensley Jolie, who was two at the time.
Audiences were first introduced to Evans back in 2010 when she appeared in the second season of MTV reality show, 16 and Pregnant.
