Keke Palmer and her young son absolutely embodied their Halloween tribute to the 2000 hit “Bow Wow (That’s My Name).”

On Wednesday, October 29th, the Nope star delighted her Instagram followers by unveiling the impressive costumes she and her 2-year-old son, Leodis “Leo” Jackson, had chosen for Halloween—and they truly captured the essence of the moment.
The dynamic duo paid homage to the iconic looks of Snoop Dogg and Bow Wow from the “Bow Wow (That’s My Name)” music video. Keke transformed into Snoop Dogg with an ensemble featuring a white T-shirt, a zip-up hoodie, loose-fitting pants, white sneakers, and a silver chain. Meanwhile, young Leo mirrored Bow Wow’s style with a white sweatband, denim jacket, T-shirt, and sunglasses, confidently striking a pose alongside his mother.
“My son is my little road dog, FOR REAL! Happy Halloween,” Palmer enthusiastically shared in her caption.
To top it off, she posted a fun video showcasing the pair rapping along to the song, with Leo swaying to the rhythm and adjusting his sunglasses like a pro.
“Woof the dogs came to playyyy. Happy Halloween,” she added.
The 32-year-old welcomed Leo in February 2023 with ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson and has been open about embracing motherhood on her own terms. Earlier this month, she shared a sweet Instagram post about life as a single mom.
“Omg I think my baby is a performer yall! Hahahahahah!!! Yall see him putting on for the camera???” she wrote, before adding, “This is to all my mother’s doing it on their own. Not as a moment of pity or as a badge of hardship because being a mother is difficult, period. I just want to acknowledge you! …”

The mother-of-one admitted it had been “a really hard week,” but she used the moment to encourage other moms.
“… You are doing good. You are capable. Your baby does love you. Your sacrifices are accounted for. God is with you. Your prayers will be answered, keep praying,” she wrote.
She reminded moms that it’s okay to be human. “… It’s okay that they see we are human and we communicate our feelings. I would see my mom sad, I would see my dad sad, I watched them be human and I think I’m a better person because of it,” she added.
Over the summer, Keke shared that Leo’s full name, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, was his father’s creative idea.
“Darius actually made his name. He wanted both our names,” she laughed on Scott Evans’ House Guest podcast. “He sounded like he was marching with [Martin Luther King Jr.]. It’s like Leodis Andrellton Jackson. He’s gonna be on somebody’s campaign.”
