The latest season of The Kardashians has delivered its share of tension. Although Kourtney Kardashian has seemed more distant from her sisters, the reality star has remained focused on her family. She also addressed speculation about her marriage to Travis Barker, firmly denying claims that the couple had begun living apart.
Throughout the new season, Kardashian has revisited several personal moments from her life. According to E!, she told her close friend Simon Huck about a news report alleging trouble in her marriage. Kardashian said her publicist called to tell her that rumors were circulating that she and Barker no longer shared a home.
“She is like, ‘The magazine is saying that you and Travis don’t live together anymore and you are splitting up,’” the 47-year-old recalled. Kardashian said she responded, “Tell them to print it. Just see what happens. They know it is not true.” She attributed the speculation to a “dumb” TikTok video.
She also criticized the spread of AI-generated videos featuring her. “And people believe it!” Kardashian said. “It’s so bizarre.”
Kardashian emphasized that reports of a breakup were unfounded and that she and Barker are still together. The couple married in 2022 and welcomed their son, Rocky, in 2023. Kardashian is also the mother of Mason, Penelope and Reign, whom she shares with former partner Scott Disick. Barker has two children, Landon and Alabama, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, and serves as stepfather to Moakler’s daughter, Atiana De La Hoya.

Rather than separating, Kardashian explained that she and Barker have been renovating their home to accommodate their blended family. “My goal in renovating my house and all the changes we’re making is so that we can all fit,” she previously said. The Lemme founder added that they wanted a shared space where everyone could live together comfortably and build a strong relationship.
“I feel like blending, in the beginning, is a lot of adjusting for each person,” Kardashian said. She admitted that being temporarily displaced during the renovation left her feeling “vulnerable.” Once the work is complete, she is looking forward to enjoying the home with her family. “I can’t wait to cook, have movie nights, barbecues,” she said.
Kardashian appears to have developed a close relationship with her stepchildren. She spends considerable time with them and shares her advice, while continuing to co-parent her children with Disick, who remains a familiar presence on The Kardashians.
When Barker was recently hospitalized, Kardashian and Alabama stayed close to him. According to People, the Blink-182 drummer posted photos from the hospital on his Instagram Stories, including an image of himself wearing a hospital robe. In a caption accompanying a photo of his daughter, he wrote, “My baby girl came with me.”
Barker also shared a photo of Kardashian kissing him on the lips. “And my beautiful wife by my side,” he wrote, capturing the family’s support. Although the father of four did not disclose why he had been hospitalized, the posts offered a glimpse into the couple’s close bond and blended family dynamic.
