Lily Allen was seen for the first time since she unfollowed her husband David Harbour on Instagram amid claims they are ‘living separate lives’.

The singer, 38, who was dressed down in a jumper and jeans, was pictured walking with her daughter Marnie in New York City on Sunday.

Earlier this week, Ms Allen confused fans when she unfollowed the Stranger Things star, 48, on the social media platform.

Ms Allen, who was still wearing her wedding ring during the outing, has reportedly ‘barely seen’ her husband over the last three months.

Ms Allen carried a green tote bag and an unopened bottle of wine, presumably for someone else given she is a known teetotaller.

Harbour still follows Ms Allen on the platform and it is possible that the singer’s sudden snub could be accidental.

A source recently told The Sun: ‘Lily and David have barely been together for the past three months and have been living separate lives.’

They added: ‘When she was in London for the Pillowman, David was spotted at one performance in July before Lily was left by herself.

‘In her downtime, Lily would be with mates in London or her kids. When she went back to the US with them, there was no sign of David.’

To add further confusion, a week prior to Ms Allen’s unfollowing, the pair celebrated their third wedding anniversary.

Ms Allen shared a photo from their wedding day on Instagram – which is still up on her grid.

She captioned it: ‘3 years with this guy, 2nd best decision I ever made. 1st was that dress.’

Ms Allen looked glowing in the white 1960s-inspired Dior dress with a matching bridal veil that fell down her back in two layers and black suede heels.

The low-key ceremony was officiated by Elvis Presley impersonator and chapel co-owner Brendan Paul.

The couple were first linked in January 2019 when they attended the BAFTA Tea Party together.

In November of the same year, the Somewhere Only We know star was photographed wearing an engagement ring.

Since tying the knot in September 2020, which was during the initial wave of COVID-19, Harbour has taken on the role of stepfather to Allen’s two daughters: Ethel, 11, and Marnie, 10.

‘I’m in a relationship with three women who all have very different opinions of me at various times,’ the actor joked at the time

He then took a more serious tone when discussing how ‘making that kind of a commitment’ to the girls was ‘a huge thing for me.’

The Stranger Things star added: ‘And it just makes you feel a little bit more like a man, to be honest. I just feel a little bit more like an adult.’

Lily previously credited the Covid pandemic with helping her relationship with David.

Talking on Alan Carr’s podcast about lockdown, she confessed: ‘The pandemic completely changed the course of my life.’

The couple, who married in Las Vegas in September 2020, had only been dating for about six months when the pandemic hit.

Lily explained: ‘When the pandemic happened me and my now-husband I were at sort of quite early stages of our relationship really, and it was only because he lived in New York and you know they started shutting things down.

‘We’d been together for about six months but we definitely weren’t at the stage of being like “Let’s move in together”.

‘Obviously I had kids, but because of the pandemic I was like “He can’t just be sat their in a flat on his own for however long, I mean how long is this going to last?”‘

The actor lived in New York, Lily offered for him to come and move in with her and her two children as a trial period.

‘I said to him, “Get on a plane, get over here’ and I said to the kids “This is mummy’s friend and he doesn’t have anyone to stay with, so we’re going to have him stay with us” and we lived together for a good six months.

‘If it hadn’t been for that six months of us being able to test out what it would be like to live together as a family, we would never of had the opportunity to try that out and I would never have taken the risk of moving.’

‘Thank God for Covid,’ Alan joked while Lily quipped ‘Yeah, sorry for all the people that died but my life has improved immeasurably!’

Lily shares Ethel and Marnie with her first husband Sam Cooper, who she was married to from 2011 to 2018.
