Renowned for his flamboyant fashion and signature wavy hair during his tenure as a judge on MasterChef, Matt Preston is now adopting a more laid-back style. This transformation is prominently featured on the cover of his latest cookbook, “Matt Preston’s World of Flavour.”
The 60-year-old food writer, originally from England, has swapped his trademark tailored blazers and cravats for a more casual appearance, opting for a bright yellow shirt with its top buttons casually undone.
Preston has also embraced his natural grey hair, complementing it with a noticeably deep tan, showcasing his new relaxed image.

Matt’s new cookbook is his latest culinary venture since quitting his role as a judge on MasterChef last year.
He, along with fellow judges George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan, parted ways with the Channel 10 cooking show before the 2020 season over a pay dispute.
They were replaced by Jock Zonfrillo, Andy Allen and Melissa Leong.Â
