According to her, instead of simply extending a friendly greeting or using her first name, people often resort to addressing her with formal titles like “ma’am” or “officer.”

Expressing her bewilderment, she said, “I’m at a loss for words at this point because I’m genuinely puzzled. I don’t understand why some civilians seem afraid to approach or talk to me.”
She expressed further frustration over the formal greetings she receives, saying, “Una no fit say hi mama or call me by my name. Everytime Good morning ma, Good morning ma, or officer, who be officer?”
The woman appeared to be jokingly encouraging people to feel more comfortable around her, particularly those interested in starting a relationship.
She added, “Una no fit say mama can I have your number or can you be my girlfriend? Why una dey do me like this?”
