Nia Long took to social media this week to call out ex-fiancé Ime Udoka’s alleged mistress, Kathleen Lynch, by name for the first time.
The 52-year-old You People actress also called out the NBA coach’s former team, the Boston Celtics, for its role in the cheating scandal that took place one year ago.
Nia reshared a video of writer Dr. Yaba Blay in a conversation with Glennon Doyle on the podcast We Can Do Hard Things as she spoke about how Black women’s pain is often dismissed.
Long captioned the post shared with her 4.5 million followers: ‘Where was this level of awareness a year ago @celtics ??? #kathleenlynch.’
DailyMail.com revealed Lynch’s — a 34-year-old married mother-of-three who worked as a team service manager for the Celtics — identity last year.
The Big Momma’s House star was supported by multiple celebrity friends in the comments, including Snoop Dogg, 51.

Long simply responded, ‘love u,’ to the Long Beach, California-bred music artist.
She also took to the comments section of her post to express gratitude to Dr. Blay, writing, ‘Thank you @yabablay for your fearlessness and speaking facts for all of us.’
The note continued, ‘This is such an important conversation that needs to be heard and understood.’
The mother-of-two additionally gave a shoutout to actress and comedian Yvette Nicole Brown, whose post she reshared: ‘Thank you @yvettenicolebrown for sharing. Love you sis!’
Sports journalist Jemele Hill added her two cents to the conversation as she said, ‘Your caption [fire emoji].’
And Married To Medicine personality Dr. Heavenly Kimes added, ‘She said that…and it’s so true … we’ve been conditioned not to show emotions… we hold it in …… we’ll it doesn’t come out with tears…. Maybe anger .. but not tears.’
It comes after last December Nia slammed the New England sports team for its handling of the affair.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Long said the team had not made any effort to check in on her or her sons, one of whom was fathered by Udoka.
‘If you’re in the business of protecting women — I’m sorry, no one from the Celtics organization has even called to see if I’m OK, to see if my children are OK,’ she said.
‘I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public,’ she added.
She also told the publication that she and her son were moving back to Los Angeles from Boston.
‘I went home to be with my son, and that was what was most important to me, because he was not having an easy time,’ Long said.
The former couple has one son together, Kez Sunday Udoka, 11. Long shared that she took the child out of school when Udoka’s affair became public.
‘It was devastating, and it still is,’ Long said, adding that her son ‘still has moments where it’s not easy for him.’
She is also mother to 22-year-old son Massai Zhivago Dorsey II from her relationship with actor Massai Dorsey.
Long also took to the comments section of her post to express gratitude to Dr. Blay: She wrote, ‘Thank you @yabablay for your fearlessness and speaking facts for all of us’

Their child: The former couple has one son together, Kez Sunday Udoka, 11
Last month Nia filed for primary custody of the couple’s child, claiming Udoka is failing to support his son.
Long filed her petition in Los Angeles, requesting a judge to give her primary legal and physical custody of Kez, according to TMZ.
However, the entertainer did ask the judge to allow Udoka a reasonable opportunity to visit his son as long as it was ‘consistent with the child’s best interest.’
Her rep confirmed the former couple’s split at the end of last year, noting that they are ‘no longer together but remain fully committed to co-parenting their son,’ People reported.
