Rachel Bilson is opening up about the joys of vibrators on the latest episode of her headline-grabbing podcast.
The 41-year-old OC actress had made multiple bombshell revelations about her sex life recently, to the point she recently announced she lost a job with a ‘conservative brand’ because of her raunchy public remarks.
On the latest episode of Broad Ideas, she kept the trend going by interviewing a sex therapist and laying bare her own history with toys.
She also revealed she had her first orgasm around the age of 20 – months after sharing she did not climax from penetrative sex till she was 38.
‘For me, you know, my first orgasm didn’t come until I was probably 20 years old with a partner, you know, from him touching me, and it took a very long time,’ she said.

‘And it finally happened and then it was like: “Okay, the floodgates have opened,” and then it was like easier,’ Rachel revealed.
She set the internet aflame a couple of months ago when she remarked that she never had an orgasm from penetrative sex till she was 38.
Social media commentators were quick to notice she reached the milestone well after her relationships with Hayden Christensen and Adam Brody.
Rachel since clarified that the issue ‘had nothing to do with any partners,’ saying on The Viall Files: ‘Nobody was involved other than myself.’
She returned to the theme on the latest episode of Broad Ideas, saying that her orgasm woes were ‘mostly’ to do with ‘me and my body and being comfortable and figuring out like position and whatnot.’
Now she ‘can’ climax through penetrative sex and has been able to do so with ‘multiple partners’ over the past few years, ‘but it’s learning your body.’
She spilled that ‘I didn’t have a vibrator until I was in my mid-30s. Like I hadn’t even had a toy until it was given to me as a gift, and it was like: “Oh, well this is easy!”‘
However Rachel noted that bringing vibrators ‘into the bedroom’ with men was a potentially fraught undertaking.

‘I want to be f***ing manhandled’: She recently announced she lost a job with a ‘conservative brand’ because of how openly she discussed her sex life on the podcast Women On Top
‘I think that there can be certain types of situations and men where men feel either threatened by it or, you know, like they can’t perform,’ she opined.
Also on her podcast, Rachel let slip that she had ‘never faked an orgasm’ and wondered aloud whether she was an ‘a**hole’ as a result.
”Cause then I start to go into that people-pleasing thing and like, oh, am I just a d*** ’cause like I, you know, never gave them that?’ she said. ‘It goes against my whole nature of being like a people pleaser and like putting the dude first.’
Rachel, who shot to fame on The OC, recently said she was ‘baffled’ at having lost a job with a ‘conservative brand’ because of how openly she discussed her sex life on the May 3 episode of the podcast Women On Top.
The episode included her candid confessions about the time she ‘s*** her pants,’ of which she quipped: ‘It’s like a fetish thing.’
She also said: ‘I’ve learned that if you want to have an orgasm during sex, you have to be on top. But missionary is my favorite. I want to be f*****g manhandled.’
Rachel named doggy style as her least favorite position, arguing that she could be ‘hurt’ by it depending on the size of her man’s penis.
On a subsequent episode of Broad Ideas, she announced that she had lost a showbiz gig because of her Women On Top shot.
The way they were: Last year on Broad Ideas she was asked what she most missed about her ex Bill Hader and replied with a laugh: ‘His big d***’; they are pictured at the 2020 Golden Globes
‘This is the first time it’s ever happened to me in my professional life that I lost a job this week because of things that were said,’ she claimed.
Apparently the ‘conservative brand’ that dropped her ‘said they weren’t comfortable with that [manhandled] headline and that if people keep Googling, they’ll see the other things that I’ve commented on, which was orgasms. And I’m just like, I feel like it’s discrimination. I was floored. I cried.’

She was first linked to Bill near the end of 2019, when she was 38, but their relationship reportedly ended during the following summer.
