Erin Andrews, for example, became a free agent in 2025 for the first time in her roughly 20-year career. Fox moved quickly to keep the veteran broadcaster, and although the deal’s full terms were not made public, reports have placed her annual salary at nearly $2 million.
Fox also retained Andrews’ Calm Down With Erin and Charissa podcast cohost, Charissa Thompson, easing speculation that she might move to a competing network.

“I was never leaving Fox,” Thompson told Andrews during an April 2025 episode of the podcast. Thompson hosts Fox’s NFL Kickoff pregame show and Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football pregame coverage. “I don’t know where this took on a life of its own, where I was hosting my family at the ranch for the past weekend. Four of my family members asked, ‘Well, the place looks great. How are you going to afford it now that you don’t have a job?’”
