Milania Giudice has opened up about her mental health struggles, describing the recent period as “the worst time of my life” in an emotional new video.
The daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has faced several painful months, including a reported airport incident involving her family and the death of a close childhood friend.
She made headlines last month after a confrontation at an airport resulted in police being called to the scene.
In July, Milania also mourned the loss of her childhood friend Victoria Zardoya, who died at the age of 20.
Milania has now disclosed that she lives with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD. She is currently receiving care at a treatment center.
“I was going to wait to make this video until I looked good or whatever, but honestly, that’s just not me,” Milania told her Instagram followers. “I’m a very raw, true, authentic person, and that’s who I’m going to continue to be.”

She also apologized to her audience, saying she did not believe she had been using her platform in the way she intended. Milania explained that she had told her parents since childhood that she wanted to help others, raise awareness and share her experiences on her own terms.
“Social media is like an onion. You see layers of people’s lives, and you have honestly been seeing the worst, worst times of my life,” she said. “It has been the worst time of my life.”
Milania said she was not ashamed of her diagnoses and confirmed that she is working on her wellbeing at a treatment center. She added that her mother was planning to visit her and acknowledged that, at 20, she had found the events of the summer overwhelming.
“A lot of things happened in a short amount of time, and I’m trying to process everything,” she continued. “It’s really hard being in the public eye while going through things in life.” She apologized for not showing the person she wanted to be, adding that she had been raised with “pure respect” and love.
Milania promised to keep working on herself and to rethink the content she shares online. Her goal, she said, is to use her experiences to help other people before bringing the video to a close.
Milania is receiving professional support after a public incident at Tampa International Airport involving Teresa and her older sister, Gia.
Police responded after Milania reportedly ran away from her family and a counselor inside the terminal shortly after being released from a hospital.
Body-camera footage obtained by TMZ shows Teresa telling officers that Milania had allegedly tested positive for fentanyl during an earlier incident. The episode occurred before Milania was hospitalized at a mental health facility under Florida’s Baker Act this month.
In the footage, Milania says she had been “laced” with the drug, while Teresa repeatedly tells her that she is trying to “save her life.”

Teresa addressed the situation in a statement, saying: “As a mother, there is nothing more important to me than the health, safety and wellbeing of my children.”
“The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family,” she continued. “I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life.”
She went on to say that Milania ‘has experienced tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma’ after the death of two of her best friends.
Milania has been mourning the loss of her childhood friend Victoria Zardoya, who suffered a ‘devastating fall’ on July 24 while exploring historic ruins in Florida. She died days later at age 20.

Teresa continued: ‘Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for. Right now, my only focus is my daughter – making sure she is surrounded by love, family, support, and the care she needs.
‘I understand that because our family has lived much of our lives in the public eye, there will naturally be questions and speculation. But Milania is my daughter before she is anything else. She is a young woman going through an incredibly difficult and deeply personal time, and she deserves the opportunity to heal without every moment of her pain being analyzed publicly.’
Teresa then pleaded for ‘compassion and kindness,’ as well as ‘privacy,’ before thanking those who had reached out and sent well wishes.
