Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, is infusing EverBank Stadium with some serious dad vibes.

This Sunday, January 4, marks not only a pivotal moment for Lawrence in his NFL career but also a heartwarming personal milestone—his daughter Shae‘s first birthday. On this day, the Jaguars have a shot at clinching the AFC South title and possibly securing the top seed in the conference.

Before facing off against the Tennessee Titans, the 26-year-old Lawrence made a memorable entrance at the stadium. He sported a custom T-shirt dedicated to Shae, adorned with her photos and her name prominently displayed. This gesture brought a smile to Lawrence’s face as he prepared for the game.

The quarterback’s fans were quick to show their appreciation for his sentimental attire, taking to social media to express their support and admiration.

“Proudest dad energy with a side of slay,” said one user via X. “He really won at life with this one,” said another.

One fan wondered if the pregame outfit could turn into a big performance on the field.

Lawrence and the Jaguars are looking at a straightforward path to winning the division: either a win against the Titans or a Houston Texans loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Their path to a conference championship and the first-round bye in the playoffs is a bit more complex: the Jaguars need a win combined with losses by both the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.

If one of those teams loses and the Jaguars win, Jacksonville will hold onto the No. 2 seed.

If all three teams win, Jacksonville grabs the No. 3 seed.

The Jaguars could potentially drop all the way to the No. 7 seed in the AFC if they lose and the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, Texans and Patriots all win.

Needless to say, a win on Sunday makes things a whole lot less complicated for the Jaguars.

“It’s one game,” Lawrence told reporters on Wednesday, December 31. “We’re here. Leading up to this point, we weren’t here yet. … We had to win all those games to get to this point to continue to control the division and keep it in our hands and that’s what we did. None bigger than this one. We’re here to win the division this week.”

Jaguars Quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Wife Marissa Mowry Relationship Timeline

Trevor Lawrence’s wife, Marissa Mowry, has been his biggest cheerleader since they were kids — and he wouldn’t have it any other way. “We met in fifth grade, so I won’t say I knew [she was The One] in fifth grade,” the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2023. “We started dating […]

The Jaguars are on a seven-game win streak — including a 25-3 win over the Titans in Nashville on November 30 — thanks in part to Lawrence’s stellar play down the stretch.

During the win streak, Lawrence has thrown for 1,754 yards and 16 touchdowns, including a five-touchdown performance against the New York Jets on December 14.

He added five rushing touchdowns in that stretch.

“There’s a lot of factors,” Lawrence said. “The group up front has done an awesome job. … I’ve been able to have escape routes whether it’s outside or inside and there’s been a lot of lanes for me to run and extend plays, so that’s a big part of it.”
