Congratulations to Tristan “Mack” Wilds and his wife, Christina Wilds, on the arrival of their daughter, Naima Wilds. The celebrity couple took to Instagram on Thursday (Dec. 1) with the announcement.
“Naima (nah-ee-muh): Derived from the Arabic word نعیمہ,” Mack told his social media fans. “Naima means benevolent, pleasant, or tranquil. All praises due,” the celebrity father shared. “Welcome home, Naima.” Christina told her social media fans that she was “thankful” and “grateful” for her and Mack’s newborn. “God is good,” the celebrity mom said.
“And now there you are,” Michael Ealy shared with Tristan and Mack after reading their social media post. “Look at God,” the actor added. “So amazing,” Naturi Naughton exclaimed upon getting wind of the newest member of the Wilds family.
Fans learned of Tristan and Christina’s expectancy earlier this year. Mack took to Instagram to celebrate his wife’s birthday as well as her pregnancy. “One thing about me, I don’t miss,” Mack mused in his social media post. “Happy birthday, my love,” the actor shared.
Christina also took to Instagram to celebrate her birthday and growing family. “All praises due to the Most High,” Wilds told her social media fans. “Grateful to see another year,” Christina added. “Blessed to be surrounded by so much love.”

Christina and Mack Wilds welcomed their first child in 2019. They introduced their daughter in 2020 while covering the 50th anniversary edition of ESSENCE magazine.
“It brings Christina and I great joy to introduce our daughter, Trystan Naomi Wilds, to the world via the historic 50th Anniversary issue of the iconic publication, ESSENCE magazine,” the Wilds shared. “ESSENCE helped change the way the world experiences the multifaceted beauty and dynamic experiences of black women in America,” Tristan shared with his social media fans.
“Today, our daughter joins the legacy of icons who have graced these pages,” the celebrity father shared. “Get ready to show the world your light … my love, Tristyn Naomi Wilds.”
Trystan celebrates her third birthday this month. Naima is Tristan and Christina’s second child.
