In 2018, Stanton met Carter at former Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia’s softball charity event. The two hit it off and began dating soon after.

Stanton has always preferred to keep his love life private, but that became impossible when cameras captured him out and about with the model. While together, Carter also became friends with some of the other Yankees WAGS, including Aaron Judge’s wife, Samantha Bracksieck. But Stanton and Carter called it quits sometime in 2019 after the baseball player “liked” UFC ring star Arianny Celeste’s social media posts.

The following year, Carter moved on with Bellinger, who was with the Los Angeles Dodgers at the time. On Nov. 27, 2021, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Caiden. Then, on April 28, 2023, Carter gave birth to their second daughter, Cy. That same year, the couple announced their engagement.

In December, Carter posted a photo of herself and the athlete on a beach together. In the snap, they were both wearing wedding rings and reportedly married earlier that month.

Carter was born June 10, 1997, in Nassau, Bahamas, to parents Mark and Denise. She has one sister and one brother.

She previously described what it was like growing up on the island and living a “slow-paced” life, telling Maxim: “Everyone’s your cousin, or everyone is a relative of some sort. You go to the grocery store, and you bump into all of your friends’ parents. It’s also very slow-paced, which was interesting for me because I’m a pretty high-strung individual. When I got to be around 8 or 10, my mom said I was ready to get out of the house.”

Carter has been modeling since her early teens after she was scouted at an airport in Sydney, Australia. In 2018, she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She’s also modeled for several different brands, including Victoria’s Secret, Urban Outfitters, Maybelline, Ralph Lauren, and Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede’s Good American apparel. 

She’s also a former athlete and spoke to Story + Rain about her fitness, saying, “I was on the Bahamas National Football Team. Now, I do a majority of running. I skip rope to keep my cardio going when I travel. After I was injured from the marathon, I became really comfortable doing my own workouts. Before that, I was into classes like Barry’s Bootcamp or SLT.”
