In fact, rather than one person being responsible for the theft, it was a combined effort made possible by every member of the Wheeler College staff, who also helped in one way or another. The plot was led by Holly Bodgemark (Jill Talley), who heard about Brad Vinick’s (Gary Cole) plans to remake Wheeler, and recruited some of the other staff members and professors to help torpedo the deal. Rather than derail Holly’s career by sharing what she had done with the board, Charles opts to let her off the hook, leaving someone who truly cares about Wheeler in charge of the school.
