Usher’s youngest son, Sire Castrello Raymond, has reached a major milestone: He is officially 5 years old.
The Grammy-winning singer and his wife, music executive Jenn Goicoechea, marked Sire’s birthday on Tuesday, Sept. 29, with heartfelt tributes shared on Instagram.
Usher posted photos from a joint celebration for Sire and his older sister, Sovereign Bo, who turned 6 on Sept. 24. In one family snapshot, Sire poses with Usher, Jenn and Sovereign in front of oversized Minecraft characters, building blocks and sword-shaped props.
“Happy 5th Birthday Sire!!” Usher wrote in the caption.
Jenn shared her own Instagram carousel, featuring photos of Sire throughout the years, along with a loving birthday message for her son.
“You’re 5 already! My SON Shine,” she wrote.
“Serious Sire, you’re my constant reminder to live life with intention, but always a little on the edge. Fearless and full of energy… SIRE!”
She added, “My twin in every way. Keep shining, keep exploring, and keep reminding me that life is meant to be LIVED. The BIG 5! I love you, Sire.”

Sire was born on Sept. 29, 2021, a little more than a year after Usher and Jenn welcomed Sovereign on Sept. 24, 2020. Because the siblings’ birthdays are only five days apart, the family celebrated them together before each child’s special day.
Usher has also spoken about the close connection he shares with Sire. In a 2022 interview, the singer offered a glimpse into their relationship.
“Me and him have a really cool relationship,” Usher said. “He’s different than any of my other kids. I’ve managed to have a little code going with him when I talk to him and how we speak to each other. He makes me mush…. My new little boy, he’s something special.”
Usher and Jenn are also parents to Sovereign. The singer shares his two older sons, Usher “Cinco” Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
