  • VeryDarkMan, a social media commentator, expressed concerns about Kingsley Chinda winning the APC governorship primary in Rivers State.
  • He shared a video on Instagram revisiting past allegations from 2024 involving Chinda and former governor Nyesom Wike.
  • The allegations pertain to a controversial land allocation in Abuja, raising issues about political power and influence.

Social media analyst VeryDarkMan has expressed serious concerns after Kingsley Chinda emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary in Rivers State.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, the activist revisited accusations he made in 2024, involving Chinda and former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike, concerning a controversial land allocation in Abuja. He suggested that the incident highlighted issues surrounding the misuse of political power and influence.

VeryDarkMan alleged that the land in question initially belonged to private citizens before it was purportedly seized and reassigned. He claims that this prime piece of property could potentially be sold for a significant profit.

He contended that the political landscape in Rivers State seems to be dominated by influential figures operating behind the scenes, aiming to retain their hold on the state’s leadership.

“This is the same Kingsley Chinda I talked about in 2024 regarding the Abuja land matter,” he said. “The land was allegedly taken from the original owners who had documents and later allocated to him because of how valuable the area could become in the future.”

The activist also alleged that former governor Wike fell out with the current Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, because Fubara allegedly refused to operate under external influence, which contributed to the political crisis in the state.

VeryDarkMan further criticized President Bola Tinubu, blaming his administration for the country’s current political and governance challenges.

His comments have since generated widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians debating the allegations, the APC primary election, and the ongoing political situation in Rivers State.
