Gemma Owen and Aadam Hamed confirmed their romance this week with a romantic getaway in Dubai, documenting their trip in a slew of Instagram posts.
The pair had similar upbringings as the children of sporting icons. Yet while Gemma didn’t follow in Michael Owen’s footballer footsteps – instead becoming an International Dressage Rider – Aadam is taking after his father Prince Nasem Hamed in the boxing world.
Aadam, 23, is the spitting image of his father and it was clear to see his dad’s influence in flashy footage he shared working the speed bag in the gym.
The boxing nepo baby’s slick footwork and silky skills resemble that of his old man with fans understandably excited about the youngster’s future.
He won his first fight in August on the undercard of the heavyweight world title bout in Poland between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois.

His 17-year-old Czech opponent Vojtech Hrdy lasted two minutes and nine seconds of a one-sided first round at Wroclaw’s open-air Tarczynski Arena before a towel was thrown into the ring.
Speaking about the match, Aadam clarified: ‘That was my first fight ever, not just my pro debut.
‘It was a blessing to be here in front of everyone… I felt like I put on a performance and it’s only going to get bigger and better from here.’
It was a match that no doubt made his father Prince Nasem proud.
In the 1990s, Naseem rose up through the ranks and won the WBO, IBF and WBC featherweight titles during an exciting 10-year stint as a professional.
The boxing legend was dubbed one of the sport’s greatest showmen who dazzled fans with his flamboyant style to become one of Britain’s first pay-per-view stars.
He was a unified featherweight champion who looked unbeatable before Marco Antonio Barrera inflicted his first defeat in 2001.
Nasem fought one more time afterwards as his career came to an abrupt end when he was still just 28.
Yet his skills seem to have been passed down and picked up by son Aadam, who showed off his natural talent when hitting the speed bag earlier this month.
Nasem previously admitted he didn’t want any of his children to step foot in a ring but has been supporting his son in his boxing endeavours.

While Aadam is working hard on launching his boxing career, he has found the time to wine and dine Love Island star Gemma.
The pair were first spotted together last month on a dinner date in Birmingham, with a source telling The Daily Star: ‘They recently followed each other on Instagram and fans of both have noticed that it is them together.
‘Gemma was just with polo player Tommy Severn in Spain at the start of last month. Now she has moved on to Prince Naseem’s son.’
While she was linked to Tommy she shut down dating rumours in an Instagram Q&A in August, insisting: ‘Yes I’m single! So many questions on this. I do not have a boyfriend.’
Yet she has now moved on with Aadam after the duo enjoyed a holiday to Dubai together.
Although the couple have yet to share a photo of themselves together, they have uploaded snaps to their Instagram Stories from the same location.
A source told The Sun: ‘They’ve been getting close for a while but this Dubai trip is them making it properly official.’
They added: ‘He’s not had many serious girlfriends but he’s really serious about her. They’re smitten with one another.
‘They mix in the same circles, and she’s successful in her own right which appeals to him. They’re a lovely couple.’
Gemma and her ex Luca Bish split last year after they missed out on being crowned winners of their series of Love Island.
Social media influencer Gemma confirmed their split at the time with a statement on her Instagram stories, saying it ‘wasn’t an easy decision’ to go their separate ways.
A source close to the couple told MailOnline at the time: ‘Gemma and Luca have decided to part ways.
‘Their relationship hasn’t worked for the last few weeks, and they have come to the conclusion that it’s better for them both to end things now.
‘They hope to remain friends and will continue to support each other in everything they do going forward.
‘Love Island was a special time in their lives but sadly their romance hasn’t felt the same outside of the villa.’
