Lil Durk Health Update: Why Lil Durk Canceled Tour?
He canceled a slew of tour dates, including his scheduled appearance at Rolling Loud Miami on Friday due to reported health issues.
Next month, the ‘All My Life’ rapper still intends to do two concerts in Chicago.
On the Ticketmaster website, 24 of Lil Durk’s Sorry for the Drought Tour dates were listed as postponed on Tuesday. Two of the last performances will take place in Chicago, the hometown of the “3 Headed Goat” rapper. On August 11, he is scheduled to perform a solo gig at the United Center, and on August 12, he will make an appearance at the WGCI Summer Jam.
Despite the fact that Lil Durk, 30, hasn’t made the comment public, DJ Akademiks published it on his Instagram page.
The statement continues, “I have no choice but to cancel my headlining Rolling Loud concert as I’m still waiting to acquire full clearance from my physicians to travel and play again. “I’m looking forward to my two homecoming gigs on the 11th & 12th in Chicago while I’m at home recuperating. I’ll be announcing new dates for the remainder of the nation soon. #StillHealing.”
According to a source close to the rapper, Lil Durk, whose actual name is Durk Derrick Banks, was admitted to the hospital earlier this month in Ohio due to extreme dehydration and tiredness, TMZ Hip Hop reported on July 13.
On July 6, he was brought to a hospital, where staff reportedly informed him that his condition was critical. After that, Lil Durk was compelled to postpone appearances at the ESPYs Awards and shows in Europe.

The rapper told TMZ Hip Hop, “My fans mean everything to me; you’re the reason why I do this. “After performing and flying daily, I’ve gotten severely dehydrated and have been told by my physicians not to travel due to exhaustion. I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this weekend, attending the ESPYs, and more. I am eager to return back to work once I have recovered my full stamina.
The “All Love” emcee was previously admitted to the hospital following his Chicago Lollapalooza 2022 performance.
Onstage fireworks went off immediately in front of him, injuring him. Later, Lil Durk uploaded a picture of himself with a bandage over his right eye and a face mask. Despite finishing the show, Lil Durk told the crowd he needed to “take a break & focus on my health.”
With “All My Life,” a song he made with J. Cole, Lil Durk earned one of his biggest hits to date. His most recent album, Almost Healed, contains the song, which reached its highest point at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
On July 1, the rapper celebrated the song earning the RIAA’s Platinum certification, meaning over 1 million total units sold in the U.S.
“Thank you,” Lil Durk wrote to fans on Instagram. “I send my love out to all my fans for keeping me motivated and hungry and not lazy and comfortable.”
