ABINGDON, Va. (WJHL) — A man from Bristol, Virginia, aged 25, has been handed a decade-long prison term for his role in a scheme to distribute over 600 fentanyl pills, as announced by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
According to court documents shared by the DOJ, Briar Stephens collaborated with Bobby Arnett and others to distribute fentanyl between September and October 2024.
The DOJ elaborated, stating, “Throughout the conspiracy’s duration, Stephens acquired fentanyl pills, which he and Arnett distributed across Washington County, Virginia, within the Western District of Virginia, and beyond.”
