COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Atlanta Dream’s dynamic guard, Rhyne Howard, celebrated a remarkable achievement by clinching third place in the WNBA All-Star 3-point contest over the weekend. This impressive feat came with a gratifying $15,000 prize, generously sponsored by the Columbus-based company, Aflac.
Aflac representatives highlighted that this payout forms a part of their broader initiative aimed at supporting the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA). The company’s investment seeks to enhance the supplemental winnings available during the high-profile All-Star Weekend, underscoring their commitment to the sport.

In addition to Howard’s success, rookie sensation Azzi Fudd from the Dallas Wings claimed the spotlight by winning the first-place prize of $70,000. Meanwhile, Bridget Carleton of the Portland Fire secured the second-place finish, earning a $30,000 reward, further highlighting the thrilling competition and generous awards of the event.
