(NEXSTAR) – Pat Finn, known for his comedic roles on iconic TV series like “Seinfeld,” “Friends,” and “The Middle,” has passed away at 60 after battling cancer, his family and friends have announced.
Finn was mourned by fellow comedians Brian Stack and Jeff Dye, both of whom said they considered Finn a close friend.
“Heartbroken that our dear friend, Pat Finn, passed away,” shared Stack, a writer for “The Colbert Show,” on X. He described Finn as “as kind as he was brilliantly hilarious,” and posted a touching video of Finn playing with Stack’s daughter in his former Chicago residence.
