Woman Staggers Into Road, Cusses Out Cops

Just before 6 pm, deputies responded to a report that a woman was lying on the ground at a house on St. Rt. 139.

When officers spoke with the woman, she refused to give her name and also refused medical attention. She said she didn’t like cops and did not want to speak to them. She got up and walked across the road.

About an hour later, a caller reported a woman with blonde hair wearing an American Flag T-Shrit was staggering in and out of traffic.

Officers recognized her as the same woman from the earlier call. They offered her medical attention or a ride home, and she cussed them out and walked off in the direction of the Family Dollar.

An hour after that, another caller reported the woman staggering down the road again. Officers returned to the scene but were unable to locate her.
